Description
A good late George 3rd mahogany tripod table, unusual to have a scroll foot sweeping into an umbrella leg and no major breaks showing to the feet. The turned central column runs up to the tilting rectangular top with the interesting cut corners giving an elongated octagonal shape. The top surface has many scratches under the patina and we think it is better to leave it as original. There are a few defunct wood work holes in one of the under stretchers which we have treated as a precaution. Please don't be put off by the previous noted flaws this is a really good honest piece of Georgian furniture.
