Description
A wonderful true antique. Dating from c1795 this wonderful period corkscrew has embossed reeded banding and barrel form, with a steel screw. Stamped to the base It, maybe Joseph Taylor of Birmingham.

condition
In well used condition, the screw itself is broken and only half remains. There are several dings and losses to the silver. However it screws shuts firmly and is a wonderful piece of Georgian history. A real treasure.
