Description
Antique English bone china flow blue teacup trios set for 4, made by George Jones & Sons, England. It consists of four trios (teacup, saucer & side plate) and additional saucers x2 and side plates x2. This is a striking blue and white tea set, made in the "Abbey 1790" pattern, originally known as "Abbey Wreath" which had been produced by William Adams in the 1840s. George Jones bought many of the Adams patterns in 1861. The design depicts an old abbey in a countryside scene. The markings place it being made between 1900-1919.
