Georgian Cut Glass Perfume Bottle c.1820

Exceptional early 19th Century antique cut glass perfume bottle. The mushroom stopper features deep flute and tiny diamond cutting. Stepped prism cut shoulders with further flute diamond and fan cutting to the body. Star cut base. Date & Origin:_ England or Ireland, c1820 Period of George IV Historical Relevance:- Hand-blown around the time the streets of Birmingham were lit by gas for the first time on the 14th of April 1819.
