I specialise in affordable original artworks - mainly traditional watercolours and oil paintings but I also have a range of contemporary artworks including limited edition lithographic prints. I also stock a limited selection of antiques and collectables, including treen, ceramics and glass. I have now opened a shop in Wallingford (OX100BU) between Reading and Oxford, but I also trade online. My website, www.artandstuffgallery.com has a gallery section with several mini-galleries where my items are displayed, including more contemporary items not shown on LoveAntiques.

Description
Coloured lithograph of Aqua Claudia, a Roman acqueduct in Rome, dated 1847. This ruined acqueduct still exists and is preserved in the large 'Parco degli Acquedotti', although now surrounded by suburban Rome. This lithograph has a wonderful peaceful, timeless quality about it.
Karl Lindemann-Frommel (1819-1891) was considered one of the best German landscape artists of his day. He was born in Germany but visited Italy in 1844-9 and produced many lithographs during his travels. He also did drawings, oil paintings adn watercolours. In 1856 he moved to Italy and remained there until his death in 1891.
