Large French Gateleg Dining Table
This is a large table with double gateleg at each side to support the long deep leaves, it has attractive turned legs and cross members. The table has a small piece of wood let in on the top, this has probably been there since the table wad made to disguise a fault in the grain of the wood otherwise it is in very good condition for its age, it is big enough to seat 8 to 10 diners the patina is reflective and bright.
This is a magnificent table, the table is a traditional drop flap with a narrow shape when the flaps are down, this allows it to be conveniently placed against a wall, the narrow shape (22”) also allows the table to be carried outside.
The table stands 30” high, 70’’ long and 50’’ wide.
