This is a beautiful Large Victorian 9ct Gold Cameo (hand-carved shell) Brooch (15 grams).
The brooch is in great condition for age with a fully working 'C' clasp and security chain with a pin.
It is hallmarked for 9ct Gold.
Stunning brooch, very fine carving and beautifully designed frame.

condition
It has a tiny bend on the left side rim, please see high-resolution photos. The inner surface of the cameo-shell has one hairline, which is only noticeable with close study when you try to look at the brooch opposite the light, it is not noticeable when you look at the brooch.
