Large Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers, Scotch Chest
The chest is heavy quality and has well figured flame mahogany veneers with large barley twist pillars on either side and it has an attractively shaped top with a secret drawer.
The chest has a secret drawer, over 2 short and 3 long graduated drawers. The chest stands on turned feet, and it has the original turned wooden handles.
The overall condition of the chest is good, with only minor signs of its previous life. It has a good finish and it is an eye-catching piece which will store a lot.
The chest measures 53” high, 48” wide and 22” deep.
