This is a long antique fireside stool. An English, walnut upholstered footstool, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.
Support weary legs in tasteful style with this appealing, early Victorian that displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order. Select walnut stocks present fine grain interest and deep caramel hues. Professionally reupholstered with quality fabric and stuffed in the traditional manner. Set at a gentle angle, ideal for long periods relaxed in front of a fire. Raised upon a set of canted cabriole legs with scrolled toes.
This is a delightful antique fireside stool, being highly tasteful and of generous proportion. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
