LUIS GARCÍA OLIVER (1907-1977). Still life with apples. 1938 A catchy pictorial still life with energetic formal shifts Art Deco depicts a fruit vase of apples in rich and dynamic draperies. The focal point is the vase, which attracts the eye and stabilizes the composition. Canvas, oil. Signature and date 1938 in the upper right corner. On the reverse side is the stamp of the stretcher manufacturer Rigol Ginebra from Barcelona. On the back of the frame is the Sala Barcino label from Barcelona.
