Mahogany Leather Upholstered Swivel Adjustable Desk Armchair c.1920

1920s, height adjustable, swivel, mahogany framed and leather upholstered desk armchair. This solid mahogany framed armchair features an ergonomically shaped back with broad and wide curved top rail with attractive figuring, over sculpted slender slats. The upholstered burgundy coloured leather hide seat is trimmed with brass tacks. The seat is supported by the height adjustable, tilting and swivelling, patented mechanism. From which protrudes four legs on ceramic and iron castors. The mechanism adjusts for height by way of a wheel, and the tilt springs tighten by way of a wheel to restrict the level of incline, The chair freely swivels on the mechanism. In good condition, reupholstered, serviced, cleaned and waxed, all working and ready for use.
