Massive Antique Chinese Gilt & Polychrome Silk Embroidered Magu Hanging Panel / Wall Hanging - Late Qing Dynasty / Early Republic

Depicting The Immortal Magu with Her Pet Deer with celebratory dedications either side of her. the 8 immortals down each side with quilin to central bottom flanked by a pair of ducks and extensive floral and fauna. The top end with a wufu bat holding a tray of peaches and citron flanked by a pair of phoenix's. extensive happiness and good luck symbols on the inner border and top end centre. All imaged. The whole extensively and profusely worked with gold gilt-wrapped couched threads and floss silks on a red satin ground joined vertically in three pieces.
