We are liking this one an awful lot - of country house scale and so versatile, it could be placed into many spaces in a period or modern setting. Obviously once used as a washstand, it not only has those wonderful turned legs and simple galleried sides and back that gives it plenty of gravitas but it's of a larger scale than most and with its two deep drawers would work very well as a desk or in a hallway. Condition is classic country house find. Lovely aging all around with old age marks to the top and slides but nothing new.
