Ormolu French clock surmounted by the neoclassical figure of Diana the Hunter with bow and hunting dog, all in quality cast and engraved gilded brass; the circular clock face, with blue Roman numerals on small white porcelain plaques. The base supported with griffins with garland swags over moulded circular feet. All on a shaped giltwood stand with moulded decorations, over small bracket feet. The circular brass clock movement stamped Gve Rey Jne, Paris. The maker of the exquisite ormolu case is unknown.
