Pair of 19th Century Gilt Bronze Wall-Mounting Candle Arms

A pair of fine quality 19th century (probably early 19th century French Empire period) heavy cast gilt bronze figural wall mounting candle arms of scrolling form and with holes drilled for electricity, originally previously mounted. In good, general overall condition commensurate with age, the gilding has dulled as expected and these striking candle arms would look fantastic re-mounted/re-purposed on a wall or possibly, either side of a mirror in Girandole fashion. The heavy arms measure 12 cm high and are around 13 cm (deepest). Quite unusual.
