Simply oozing period charm, this attractive pair of late 18th / early 19th century antique English Georgian brass candlesticks are the perfect size to complement that treasured antique desk. Lovely soft colour and patina, and retaining their internal wire candle-stub ejectors, though now minus their buttons, similar examples may be found illustrated in Figure 180 of Ronald F. Michaelis' classic reference work, "Old Domestic Base-Metal Candlesticks".
