Description
This pair of Victorian No End beds are timelessly tasteful - the dipped brass top rail is always an attractive style. All original brass has been given a gentle clean, the patina is lovely. Very nice detail in the decorative shell castings. These beds can be joined to make an occasional super-king sized bed – joiners provided.
Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frames have been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed to preserve and give a soft sheen.
The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base.
Suitable for standard single mattress size 3’ x 6’3” / 90cm x 190cm.
Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress).
As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on slatted base and our two of pour Bordeaux mattresses. These are joinable with zip and link to make a super-king size mattress for when the beds are joined.
We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please ask for details and prices or look at base and mattress section of our own website.
