Description
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 11,399,972 which dates it back to 1902.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1934 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The front and sides of the case are in good condition. There is some unevenness to the back.
The movement and case are not original to each other.
The glass lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a couple of very faint hairlines, not overly noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch comes with a single silver chain, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The chain weighs 13g.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.

Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red 'Buy Now' button on each listing page.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
