Pocket Watch Chain 18ct Rolled Gold Antique 1890s Victorian Albert & T Bar 51.6 Grams

Victorian Gentleman's large, chunky and highly impressive 18ct (professionally tested) rolled gold (known in the U.S.A as gold filled), traditional graduated curb link Antique pocket watch chain / Albert with original stamped T bar and big swivel dog clip. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (16 size pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and Not included). Measures; 31.5cm / 12 1/2" total length and weighs a hefty 51.6 grams. Bright crisp very chunky traditional graduated curb links (measure 1cm width to centre and taper down each side to 6mm wide) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. One of the big central links is stamped to one side (slightly worn, pocket wear) with the makers initials within an oblong shaped recessed cartouche; T*H - Thomas Hopwood, Birmingham, England). Original large T bar to one end (measures 3.8cm length) which is again clearly stamped to one side (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche); T*H. Robust and well made secure swivel dog clip to the other end (larger than average 2.5cm length) which operates correctly and is ideal for a pocket watch with a 'fat' bow. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with just a little bit of very light overall wear / patina and few tiny surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
