Pocket Watch Chain Coin Fob 1947 Vintage Enamelled English Silver Sixpence

Vintage original lucky silver and enamel British sixpence (old 6d), Gentleman's pocket watch chain English coin fob in an attractive rope edge mount. C ~ dated 1947. Measures; 3.4cm height (including the top ring), 2.4cm diameter and weighs a respectable 6 grams. Depicts in bright gold enamel King George V1 to the front set upon a black background which turns to vivid Royal blue when caught in the light. The back depicts the Royal crown in bright gold and Cardinal red enamel set upon a deep red enamel background and is clearly dated in gold script; 1947. Both sides of the coin are encapsulated behind slightly domed clear celluloid lenses and held securely within an attractive silver nickel rope edge mount. Robust big steel top ring. Superb clean, crisp condition with just a tiny bit of extremely light overall patina and little surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
