Pocket Watch Chain Fob 1890s Rose Gilt & Bloodstone Antique Large Fob

Gentleman's highly ornate original Victorian pocket watch chain large rose gilt fob set with an attractive glass 'bloodstone' to base. C~1890's. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.4cm height (including the top ring), 2.3 width and weighs a respectable 5 grams. Highly unusual rose gilt mount which is adorned to both sides with acanthus leaves, an oval shaped 'link' to centre and attractive bow detail to top. Fluted base holding securely a dark green bevel edge, oval shaped glass 'bloodstone' (measures 1.7cm x 1.4cm) which has fabulous red inclusions . Robust gold filled top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear and just a few 'flea nibbles' / scratches to the glass stone commensurate with age.
