Pocket Watch Chain Fob Inscribed 'Total Abstinence' Victorian Brass & Enamel

Original Victorian gentleman's extremely ornate golden brass and Royal blue enamel highly unusual pocket watch chain 'Total Abstinence' antique fob (no alcohol). Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.1cm height (including the top ring), 2.2 width and weighs a very respectable 4.1 grams. Wonderful golden brass engine turned 'sunburst' decoration to the front which is holding to centre a posy of flowers and leaves set upon an attractive engine turned background and has a raised Royal blue enamel central plaque upon which is stamped; Total Abstinence (phrase used by the Teetotalers - no alcohol and also mentioned in A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens). The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Robust original brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a few extremely fine little overall surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
