Pocket Watch Chain Fob Sterling Silver Large Flintlock Pistol with Whistle

Gentleman's highly impressive sterling silver (stamped) pocket watch chain fob in the form of a large 1700's style Flintlock pistol with integral whistle. Measures; 7.1cm length (including the end ring), 2.8cm height and weighs a heavy 22 grams. (I have shown a photograph of it next to an English one penny coin for scale). Beautifully detailed all around with crisp and totally unworn, slightly raised elaborate leaves, daisy flowers and scrollwork. Clearly stamped to the underside with the silver purity; Sterling and is stamped to one side of the 'handle' (upon a polished fancy scrolled cartouche): London and the otherside carries a date (again set upon a polished cartouche); 1795. The whistle operates correctly by blowing into the end of the barrel (very loud and shrill!) Original robust wide silver end ring (sealed link) to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a tiny (absolutely micro) bit of overall patina / little surface scratches all showing under eyeglass only.
