Gentleman's large and highly impressive 10ct rose rolled gold (professionally tested, has a lovely soft pink hue and is known in the USA as gold filled) traditional chunky curb link Antique original Victorian pocket watch chain Albert by 'Helios' with swivel T bar and big dog clip. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. The 16 size yellow gold pocket watch is for display and colour shade only - Not included. Measures; 37cm / 13 1/2" total length and weighs a heavy 41.4 grams. Bright crisp very chunky traditional curb links (measure 7mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Interestingly two of the links a short distance from the dog clip are fused - this was a security measure in the original manufacture and was done to strengthen the chain against Victorian vagabonds and pickpockets. Robust and well made big secure dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and large swivel T bar to centre (measures 4cm length) which is clearly stamped (within a recessed, oblong shaped cartouche) with the makers name; Helios. Excellent bright clean condition with just a bit of light overall wear/ patina and surface scratches commensurate with age.
