Prestex Lever Hunter Pocket Watch - Prestons Ltd, Bolton

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Prestex Lever, a name which was registered by Prestons Sa in 1927. Prestons was listed as a manufacturer of watches and watch parts, and they were based in Biel, Switzerland. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in lovely condition with just one very slight indentation to the front, hardly worth mentioning. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition. The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Prestons Ltd, Bolton. It is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial, with light discolouration, and outer minute markers. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
