Reichel Artisan Wool Wall Hanging

A fabulous three dimensional West German wall hanging by Reichel, who are known for their wool rugs and decorative pieces from the 1960s and 1970s. This has a wonderful autumn colour palette. - Three dimensional piece, with a long pile, tassels at the bottom and intrinsic tufts to the main body. - Typical 1970s colour palette of oranges, rust, browns, red and green. - Original German labelling on the back, showing the Reichel name, the statement of a quality product and the fact that it is 100% pure new wool. - Wooden slat attached across the top at the back, with metal rings at either end to enable hanging. This will look great in a mid century interior and has the gorgeous colour palette of that era. In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
