Description
Handsome ribbed clear glass scent bottle with a push button hinged silver top, decorated with swirled fluting, made by the renowned silversmith George Brace in 1887. He had his first mark registered in 1859 at 70 St John Street Road, Clerkenwell, London. This scent bottle exudes quality and craftsmanship. The silver presents Gb, the Lion passant, the London assay mark, and date letter “M” for 1887.

The scent bottle is in very good condition with minor surface wear commensurate with age. No cracks. The push button top is in good working order. The glass in the inner neck is in very good condition. The swirl-lobed top is inscribed 'E.S.M. FROM CECIL.’
