I specialise in affordable original artworks - mainly traditional watercolours and oil paintings but I also have a range of contemporary artworks including limited edition lithographic prints. I also stock a limited selection of antiques and collectables, including treen, ceramics and glass. I have now opened a shop in Wallingford (OX100BU) between Reading and Oxford, but I also trade online. My website, www.artandstuffgallery.com has a gallery section with several mini-galleries where my items are displayed, including more contemporary items not shown on LoveAntiques.

Description
This is a lovely painting of Venice in early morning. The light on the water in the canal is particularly striking and is a feature of other paintings by him. The overall effect is very calming and serene.
Roy Perry (1935-1993) was born in Liverpool and initially read Economics at University and then "masqueraded as a chartered accountant"! However, he began to paint full time in 1971 when he moved to Dorset. He became a member of Royal Institute I in 1978 when he won their Gold medal, and also exhibited at Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists amongst others.
