Description
An attractive and well coloured mid 20th century vintage Royal Doulton English porcelain figurine, "Day Dreams" Hn 1944, designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine and issued from 1940 to 1949, this fine early example potted in 1942.
The base with Royal Doulton green printed backstamp for the period, with date code 15 for 1942, the Title, "Day Dreams", Rd.No. 807474 { for 1935 }, Hn.1944 ~ Painter's monogram, which could be either M, for Tom Mason, or W, for Eric Webster, plus illegible impressed model number.
