Wonderfully preserved mid 19th century plant life, with appealing presentation, displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order behind clear glass. Skilfully dried in period and mounted within tasteful, later frames. Six different specimens present, each annotated with its Latin name. Also annotated with the date and location it was gathered in. Samples noted as being gathered in Kew Gardens and Jamaica. Dressed to the rear with mounting cups for ease of hanging.
