Description
A good set of six late 18th Century English Georgian antique reeded edge Pewter Plates, each bearing the touch of William Wright of Little Minories, London {Cotterell O.P. 5310}, together with a fine set of hallmarks. Wright was working in the mid to late 18th Century, however, each of these plates is also stamped England, which normally would indicate a post 1892 date, thus raising a question mark over their true age. After careful consideration, we have concluded that this latter mark is clearly a later addition and have thus catalogued the plates accordingly.
