Description
A mid-century silver box, with an engine turned lid has a small blank cartouche. Whilst modest in dimension, the box is a good weight and would probably started life as a table cigarette box.
The original wooden interior has been retained, consolidated and is now finished in a magenta and red silk combination. It would look at home in a contemporary or traditional setting.

Condition is good, although the original wood interior does have a couple of very small patches where the years of a liquid silver cleaner being used have left some staining.
