Superb David Andersen Silver & Enamel Brutalist Brooch / Pendant

Superb organic design brooch or pendant by the sought after David Andersen. This wonderful example has a slightly domed body with random panels of fiery gold and bronze enamel. Designed for Andersen by Karl Jorgen Otteren, this fabulous piece is in the Brutalist style and is a prime example of Scandinavian craftsmanship at its best. The centre is set with a faux pearl and to the back the pin is secured with a roll-over clasp. There is a fixing loop for a chain, if use as a necklace is preferred. An eye catching statement piece and a wonderful collector's item. Fully marked with Da, scales, 925S and designer's mark.
