Tastefully Opulent Victorian Super King Size Bed

This beautifully crafted Victorian super king size bed has lovely detail in the decorative castings and clamps. The brass facings on the castings have a delightful art deco inspired shape, giving this bed an incredible amount of charm. The brass has been cleaned and polished to bring out it’s natural patina. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Jet Black, waxed to preserve. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on 2” bed base. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Workshop/store open Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm. Saturday by arrangement.
