Immaculate mahogany cased twin fusee wall clock by Turner of Droitwich. Twin fusee, bell striking wall clocks are seldom found and this is a beautiful example. The mahogany case retains it's original french-polished finish and has a deep, rich patina that only age can produce. It has a glazed lenticle to the lower half through which the pendulum can be seen in operation, and side inspection doors plus a key lockable door to the base. The side "ears" are wonderfully carved with grapevine detail. The 12", white painted dial has black Roman numerals, beautifully cut hands and is signed Turner of Droitwich. It has a heavy cast brass bezel and silvered sight ring. The 8 day, twin fusee movement is of the highest quality. It strikes the hours on a bell with a very clear, crisp tone. It has just been fully overhauled by our Bhi registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
