Vellum Leather Suitcase for Carrying Shoes 18' c.1930

Beautiful antique vellum leather travelling shoe case holding 6 pairs of shoes. The case is in lovely, original condition and the locks work perfectly. It is of a lovely, manageable size. Outside you can see the hook that you use to hang the case so that you can choose your shoes from one of the 6 silk pockets that house them inside the case. This is an ingenious idea, and perfect for travelling when you need a few pairs of shoes and don't want to mix them up with your other clothes. The case is very unusual and dates from around the 1930s. Classic luggage at its best, stylish and super quality - useful too!
