Victorian Chiffonier Bookcase

A fine quality mid 19th Century Victorian antique burr walnut veneered chiffonier bookcase of beautiful small proportions. The glazed doors have green silk curtains on the inside and give way to a shelved interior. To the sides of the top and base are turned and scrolled supports which sit alongside egg and dart mouldings to the top and bottom of the base. The uppermost section has three shelves, two with a shallow stop rail whilst the top has a beautiful brass gallery. The whole piece has had the French polish revitalised and now looks absolutely stunning. With working locks and key ready for the next 100 years.
