Description
This is a superbly characterful conversation chair dating to the Victorian era. The chair has a distinctive and unusual shape with a very wide seat and a narrow curved back rest. The base is set on wooden legs finished with white ceramic castors. The seat is sprung and deeply cushioned and comfortable, made with traditional filling materials.
The chair has been newly upholstered by David McNulty Upholstery in a quality forest green textured chenille fabric. The hand sewn upholstery detailing is beautiful, with skilful pleating around the arms and attractive piping around the backrest.
It will make a lovely accent piece in the corner of a room.
