A fabulous Victorian pedestal desk in refurbished condition, this is ready for the home and has a wonderful writing slope ideal for working at a laptop. - Gilt tooled black leather writing surfaces inset to the central writing slope and on the flat surfaces either side. - Writing slope lid lifts and is kept open with a hinged prop. - Inside, there are two drawers with decorative birds eye wood fronts and an ebonised finish to the borders and knobs. - Below the internal drawers are 5 cubby holes, with attractive shaped tops. - Pedestals with 3 drawers each and a fourth drawer either side in the desk above. - Two drawers either side on the desk top, each with a gallery rail. - Central guard rail behind the writing slope. This is a lovely desk and will look great in a home office, or a traditional business office interior. The leather on the writing slope will give some grip to a laptop and make an ideal slope for it.
