A magnificent late Victorian mahogany wardrobe of superb quality. The locks are stamped 'Waring' of the Waring & Gillows fame. The central section is bow fronted with a bank of drawers below a hand carved top door that opens to reveal a mini linen press with three sliding drawers which are mahogany lined, as with the lower drawers. The side mirrored doors still have their original hooks inside. The whole piece has a strong 'Roccoco' influence, with it's carved arch top and beautiful cast brass handles, all sat on turned Turnip feet. Breaking down into five main sections for easier transportation and assembly. Condition is very good all round with only an old mark to the side of the wardrobe on the plinth. The piece will look fantastic in the right setting and affords plenty of storage space. We also have a matching dressing table from the same maker.
