Description
Renowned for the superlative quality of their products, here's a sparkling example of Mintons at their very best. A superb late 19th Century antique English Victorian blue & white transfer porcelain "Solitaire" teapot, printed in the "Genevese" pattern, depicting alpine chalets in a romantic setting. The underside with printed title within a cartouche with C-scrolls which includes the words Opaque China, this together with the impressed Maker's Mark, viz. Mintons above the letters Ws, and an impressed V plus what appears to be an impressed 4. A good example of English Victorian ceramics at their finest !
