19th Century (c.1870) Victorian antique pitch pine dressing table in a very unusual neo-classical design. Hand painted throughout in red and black lining and various different foliage and geometric designs. The supports have hand painted Classical portraits and urns. The drawer knobs have a green background with a black daisy flower effect. The whole piece is in very good original condition although there are some marks and blemishes commensurate with age. There is no structural damage and the piece still retains its original mirror and jewellery cupboard urns. Painted Victorian furniture of this style is very rare especially this well looked after. Maker reputed to be C & R Light, it's very much in the style but there is no maker's mark. We do also have a bedside cupboard and a wardrobe from the same suite.
