Vintage 4.20ct Ceylon Sapphire & 0.40ct Diamond, Platinum Ring c.1945

Stunning, fine and impressive vintage 4.20 carat Ceylon sapphire and 0.40 carat diamond, platinum ring; part of our diverse unheated sapphire jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive vintage ring has been crafted in platinum. The substantial pierced decorated setting displays a stunning central feature 4.20ct cushion cut pale Ceylon sapphire, four-claw set in relief to the centre. The large principal stone is flanked on either side with an impressive individually horizontal collet set baguette cut diamond, totalling 0.40ct. The pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain platinum ring shank. This vintage ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the platinum mark (Pt900) and the maker's mark (Sc). This stunning cushion cut sapphire engagement ring in platinum is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card*.
