Fine and impressive men's vintage 1960s 0.06 carat ruby and 9 carat yellow gold lion ring; part of our diverse vintage 1960s jewellery collections. This fine and impressive vintage ruby ring has been crafted in 9 ct yellow gold. The ring has been realistically modelled in the form of a lion's head, grasping in the mouth a four-claw set 0.06ct round faceted cut ruby. The ring is embellished with fine details reproducing the lion's scrolling mane and anatomical features. The tapering ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the German minimum 8ct gold fineness mark (333) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 carat gold.
