Watch: Gents 1970s Mondaine Wrist Watch

The watch has a 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel, there are light surface marks but nothing too serious. There is pitting and wear to the finish on the winding crown. The lens is in good condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and date display. This is an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached. A new leather strap has been fitted.
