Description
UK Postage Only For This Item
The watch has a calibre 503 automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 15,591,853 which dates it back to 1956.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel. It is in good condition, just a little light marking to the back. The back of the watch is faintly signed Seamaster and Waterproof although, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The inside of the case back has the Omega logo, together with the case reference 2849-3 Sc which is correct for the calibre 503. Plain winding crown.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and date display (early quickset). There is some marking to the hands, and freckling across the dial.
The dial is double signed as it also has the name of the original high end retailer Türler.
The watch comes on a beads of rice strap (not Omega) which fits a 18.5cm wrist on its current largest setting, and there is an extra link which gives an extra 1cm if required.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Please contact us for international shipping prices (Ddu, details in delivery information section below).
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
We are a Vat registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red 'Buy Now' button on each listing page.
We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
