Watch: Gents Reves Private Label Wrist Watch c.1960

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and the case back is stainless steel. There is a little rubbing around the winding crown but not too noticeable when the watch is being worn. The back of the watch states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The lens is in lovely condition (some reflection showing in the photos). The dial is signed with the name Reves, believed to be a jeweller and the original retailer who bought watches in and labelled them with their own name. The dial is in lovely condition with original hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box.
