Watch: Gents Unicorn Amphibian Wrist Watch c.1970

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Unicorn. Unicorn was a brand of Adolph Schild, the ebauche maker. The watches had As movements, sometimes the calibre 1711 (18000A/h) or in this case, the 1901 (21600 A/h). The watch measures 33mm wide excluding the winding crown and 32mm high excluding the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just the odd minor mark but nothing serious at all. The lens is in good condition. The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers. There is some light marking but not too detrimental. The watch comes on a later stainless steel bracelet which fits a 20cm wrist although there is capacity on the clasp to make it about 2cm smaller, or links could be taken out.
