This is a wide antique tilt-top table. An English, mahogany circular occasional table, dating to the Georgian period. circa 1780.
It is of useful occasional proportion, with a fully articulated top, displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order. Select stocks present fine grain interest throughout. Deep caramel hues beneath a quality wax polish finish.
Tilting mechanism held securely with a circular brass clasp
Raised upon a stout baluster column with turned collars
Standing upon a trio of broad cabriole legs, terminating in pad feet.
