Claude Hayes (RI ROI 1852-1922) was a well known landscape Artist who was born in Dublin. Son of marine painter Edwin Hayes. Studied at Heatherleys and Royal Academy schools Antwerp and Verlat. Exhibited widely and at major London galleries. Painted many works of the Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex countryside.
